Alouss Chocolate Makers (ABN 71 854 100 670, "we", "us") is a small Australian chocolate maker. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Orders: your name, email, phone number and delivery address, so we can make, send and confirm your order, and any gift message you add.
• Payments: handled by Square (cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay) on Square's secure checkout page. Your card details go directly to Square. We never see or store your card number. Square also emails you a receipt and keeps a record of the purchase for us.
• Newsletter and free ebook: your email address, so we can send you the ebook and occasional news, seasonal releases and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Wholesale enquiries and emails: whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your shopping cart on your own device so it's still there when you come back; nothing about it is sent to us until you check out.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted services to run the business: Square for payments, Cloudflare to host this website, Mailchimp for our newsletter, and Zoho for our email. They only handle your information to provide their service to us. Some of them store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't keep your card details.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email info@alouss.com and we'll show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, unless we need to keep order records for tax or legal reasons. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us and we'll do our best to fix it.
